Series Review: Dear Dumb Diary

Dear Dumb Diary #1: Let's Pretend This Never Happened

Dear Dumb Diary…Well, here goes nothing! I was thinking about what to review today so i decided to do a series that i really like. I first “discovered” this novel when i was browsing a bookstore back in S’pore.

I have been reading these books for years and none of them have been boring or idiotic. Overall i really like this series!

The characters were very…umm…interesting,  I like the way Jamie calls Mike, Pinsetti. Angeline was the popular kid who use to go to Jamie’s kindergatern. The story was much like real life and that was very connective.

This series hasen’t ended but all the books should be as good as the others, i will definitely read this again!

The Lost Hero (The Heroes of Olympus, #1)

This is the first book of the continuation of Percy Jackson. The story line is pretty good but i think Piper and Jason were not meant to be. Piper keeps having stubborn doubts about everyone. Hazel and Frank are a cute couple except Hazel is an old woman who came back from from the dead.

Annabeth and Percy are sooooo cute! They would go so well together, i can imagine their wedding getting trashed by monsters and them fighting together side by side. Their children would be so cute and obviously awesome fighters.

I love the twist of Roman and Greek myths, and the conflict which caused war. The plot was awesome, the guys didn’t sound very cute except for Percy.

Full Review:Percy Jackson Series by Rick Riordan

I am sure you guys have heard of this series, who hasn’t! Well I think this novel is one of the best I have ever read!

If you go to that website u will see a picture of the book! Anyways the book was very adventurous with minimal violence. It also had the occasional romantic bits which made the book exciting. 🙂

I have read through that whole series and i could never put down the book! Seriously, this is like in the top 10 novels i have ever read and i have read like hundreds!

What i thought was funny was that the romance comes up at very awkward times…like in between a battle with the Minotaur. Jeez… Oh and this story takes place in America and the Greek myths are real and stuff.
